Experts Live Emirates 2025 — A Day That Made History

On November 11, 2025, Dubai Knowledge Park Conference Centre came alive with the energy of 500+ IT professionals, cloud architects, developers, and tech leaders — all gathered for Experts Live Emirates 2025 (ELUAE25), the premier Microsoft Cloud & AI conference in the Middle East.

Organized by Microsoft MVPs and community leaders, ELUAE25 was more than a conference — it was a movement. A full day of keynotes, breakout sessions, hands-on demos, and networking that brought the global Microsoft community to Dubai’s doorstep.

🎤 Keynotes That Inspired

Christiaan Brinkhoff — The Future of Cloud Computing & Windows in the Age of AI

Our opening keynote featured Christiaan Brinkhoff, Principal Program Manager and Community Director at Microsoft. Christiaan took the audience on a journey through the evolution of cloud computing, from traditional virtual machines to AI-powered cloud experiences. He showcased how Microsoft is reimagining Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, and the entire cloud infrastructure to support the AI-first enterprise.

Key takeaways: The convergence of edge and cloud, the role of GPU-accelerated VMs in AI workloads, and how Windows is becoming an AI-native operating system.

Yehia ElAraby — Building for the AI Era: From Code to Community

Yehia ElAraby, YouTuber and Staff Software Engineer at YehiaTech, delivered an electrifying session on how developers and tech creators are leveraging AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Azure AI to build faster, ship better, and grow tech communities. With over 1 million subscribers on his Arabic tech channel, Yehia shared his personal journey from coder to community builder — and how AI is accelerating that path for everyone.

Ahmed Fathy — Scaling EdTech with AI: Lessons from the Arab World

Ahmed Fathy, Founder of Almdrasa and Senior Engineering Manager at Yassir, shared how AI is transforming online education platforms. From automated content generation to personalized learning paths, Ahmed demonstrated real-world examples of how Almdrasa uses AI to serve millions of Arabic-speaking learners — and the engineering challenges of scaling such platforms across the MENA region.

📊 The Numbers Behind ELUAE25

🔵 Deep Dive Sessions — What We Learned

Azure & Cloud Infrastructure Track

Sessions on Azure Landing Zones, AKS in production, cloud migration strategies, and cost optimization drew packed rooms of architects and IT managers. A standout session demonstrated how a UAE-based enterprise saved 40% on Azure costs through right-sizing, Reserved Instances, and FinOps practices — without sacrificing performance.

AI & Copilot Track

The AI track was the most popular by attendance. Sessions covered Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 enterprise readiness, building intelligent apps with Azure OpenAI Service, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns for enterprise data, and responsible AI governance in the UAE context. Attendees left with actionable playbooks for implementing AI in their organizations.

Security & Compliance Track

Zero Trust architecture with Microsoft Entra ID, advanced threat detection with Microsoft Sentinel, and securing Microsoft 365 beyond default settings were the highlight sessions. Given the UAE’s growing regulatory requirements around data sovereignty and cybersecurity, these sessions resonated deeply with the audience.

Modern Workplace Track

Intune and Autopilot for hybrid workforce management, Power Platform for low-code enterprise automation, and Microsoft Teams Rooms for modern collaboration spaces rounded out the day. The Power Platform session particularly impressed attendees with live demos of complex business workflows built in under 30 minutes.

🏢 The Venue — Dubai Knowledge Park

Dubai Knowledge Park Conference Centre, located in Block 1, Al Sufouh 2, proved to be the perfect home for ELUAE25. With its modern facilities, dedicated prayer rooms, ample parking, high-speed WiFi, and proximity to Dubai Marina and JBR, the venue provided a professional yet accessible environment for all attendees.

Nearby hotels like the Hilton Dubai The Walk and Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk made it easy for international speakers and attendees to commute. The venue’s central location also allowed for spontaneous after-event networking at the many restaurants and cafés in the area.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible sponsors and partners:
